Corporate profile
SYNBIOTEC is a limited company, spin-off of UNICAM.
This spin-off intends to develop new functional foods including synbiotics, with
the capacity to improve the human intestinal ecosystem using the patented
bacterial strains registered by Prof. Alberto Cresci's researchers group from
the Department of Morphological Science and Comparative Biochemistry of the
University of Camerino.
Active partners of the SYNBIOTEC S.r.l. are: Prof. Alberto Cresci, Prof. Carla
Orpianesi, Dr. Stefania Silvi and Dr. Maria Cristina Verdenelli of the
Department of Morphological Science and Comparative Biochemistry, and the
biologist researcher Dr. Valentina Sparapani, the University of Camerino, the
Banca Popolare of Ancona and the Fabriano Filter Media S.p.A. of Sassoferrato
(AN).
